Welcome to Ohio and welcome to the biggest food festival held in the country of USA. Taste is one of the biggest and the longest running food festivals in Ohio. Held at Cincinnati, Taste is also one of the most popular food festivals around. Taste is to be held on Memorial Day Weekend: on six blocks of Fifth Street, from Race Street to Broadway in Downtown Cincinnati.
The greatest part of this great food festival is that it is all free and it gets immense publicity. The prestigious Best of Taste Award is given each year to the winner after a judgment procedure that goes on for weeks. More than 40 restaurants of USA participate in the glorious food festival. What better way to spend the summers then. Just pack those bags and all those culinary items and come down to Ohio for an absolute blast of a summer.

Simply Quaker: Women in plain dress
Written by travelblogger on September 5, 2008 – 2:35 pm -
Quaker Women
Remember the Quaker Women. The society of friends from early seventeenth century who used to have the most progressive about women. Their efforts later in the nineteenth century gave birth to the women’s rights movement. It has been over hundred years since those plain dresses of were worn. But Clinton County History Centre is bringing in that seventeenth touch by organizing a clothing exhibition.
More than forty one designer dresses will be displayed in this show. Ladies that time commonly wore plain gown, fichu or neck chief, day cap and bonnet with shawl. All these different clothing items are in the exhibition.
Contrary to what most people thick, Quaker Women did not have any strict uniform. Plain Quaker was the most popular, but there were other styles as well. The style of plain Quaker also changed over time. Red was the most popular color. Brown, Grey, Olive Green and many other dark colours were also popular. Enjoy this exhibition of colour and style rest of this fall and winter.
