 New Look for Ohio’s Christmas

New Look for Ohio’s Christmas

Whether you are a citizen of Ohio or not, the newly proposed plans for Montgomery County is sure to add incentive for keeping your area clean while taking care of Christmas.

The waste management policy here is certainly going to bring a new look during this holiday season. The new methods look for less of yard waste, tires and of course, some of the major pollutants that come through Christmas decorations. The Solid Waste District is bringing in the facilities for dropping off yard waste at a reduced recovery rate. This rate is actually $3 LESS for those materials that would be clean and organic. Go organic seems to be the tag line for everybody around and for obvious reasons. The yard wastes that will have plastic bags or stuff in them will obviously have a higher rate.

In the list of the accepted materials are leaves, brushes, clips and other Christmas tree decorations, including the fake trees and not to forget, the lawn trimmings.

Other than this the program offers free tire disposal where the Montgomery County dwellers would be allowed to bring ten vehicle tires each every year.
